Missing hidden icons

When I clicked on the small triangle at the bottom right corner of the desktop, it would show a number of icons including Safe to remove the USB drive. Some of these have suddenly disappeared from my computer. How do I get them back? Thanks.

Right click on an empty space on the Taskbar and in the menu that opens, left click Properties.
In the window that opens, on the Taskbar tab, click on "Customize" just to the right of the words "Notification area."
In the window that opens is a list of all the icon available. Click on the one you want to restore and in the list of options that appears to its right, click on the option you want.
Once finished making changes, click the OK button.
