Can anyone assist me to connect my Android Tablet to the internet, I have a wireless Modem from Verizon I did connect to the internet by entering the user ID and the password in the tablet but now I tried again to logon but getting the message out of range ( I am not out of range because I am less that 3ft from the modem.
I also tried to connect by hard wire but its asking for 1) connection type (a)Dhcp (b) Static Ip 2) IP address 3)etc. |

I'm not familiar with Android tablets at all, but see if any of these steps help.
First, is the Verizon modem of the type "wireless hotspot" or "direct connect (usb, etc)?" If it is a hotspot type device, are you sure the wireless is enabled on the tablet? If it is a direct connect, is it securely connected? You said you tried to connect by hard wire. When you do this, what happens if you try the connection type "DHCP?" |

When I try Dhcp it asked for
1) IP Address 2)Netmark 3)DSN Address 4) Default Router i also don't know where to find those. Verizon Router is wireless but it has slots to use hard wire. |
