World Climate Summit
The Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has reluctantly agreed to attend the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26, in Glasgow next week.
He had stated that he would not be attending, but it seems he was shamed into going, perhaps by the statement of the Queen. see https://www.sbs.com.au/news/the-quee...1-112ac374c247 I hope he is further shamed at the conference over his attitude and speech to the Australian Parliament a few years ago, when he was treasurer, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea5bOaPkZpc |

Well Scott Morrison that duplicitous Prime Minister of Australia who spent hundreds of thousands of Australian taxpayers money flying the former Australian Finance Minister around the world to lobby heads of governments to have his own man elected as the head of the OECD, to protect Australia's interests in any future discussions regarding coal production, has just fallen on his face. Yes Mathias Cormann did get elected as the head of the OECD but now free from the shackles of Morrison, has changed his tune and is now asking Australia to adopt a carbon pricing scheme, something he threw out when a Minister in the Australian government. see https://www.theguardian.com/australi...a-to-adopt-one

Scotty is taking taking his 'yes man' Angus Taylor, a failed businessman and now Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction to Glasgow. Mr Taylor, a former climate change denier and opponent of wind farms, is going along to advocate for the use of Australian 'clean' coal. It will be interesting to see him being howled down by the more educated in attendance.
