Yesterday I got a VHS tape and a cassette

VHS: Death With 5 (Its not the original,its recorded in SLP mode I believe..... If I like it,I will look for the official SP tape)

CASSETTE: Moody Blues - Days of future passed

FIRST 1967 RELEASE -- Absolutely goregous!!!!!!

No dolby,straight from the reels.... BEAUTIFUL ANALOGUE SOUND!!!

1) VHS: Isle of Wright Festival - 1970 (Promotional copy - not for sale (Ah man!!)) About 2 Hours....

This concert is almost as good as Woodstock 69 (Thats my favourite music event)

This is the nicest sounding record I have ever had so late!!! (1988)

Def sounds like they left it analogue!!

This is the first 8track I have had that has Dolby and it doesnt sound too bad.... The level could be louder but the song "Whos crying now?" that has that HARD S on the word
"Mystery" sounds better than I have ever heard it!!

This is a RENTAL TAPE so I was hopefull it wouldnt be ruined (Back to the future 2 and 3 are not ruined on thier official rental tapes (It looks like your watching over analogue cable))

Sadly its thin looking and not pleasant..... My copy from PPV is much better.. Im gonna try copying the movie to another tape in SLP mode and hope its better..... (Sometimes I can make them look better by doing that,I think it depends how they put it on the tape))

2) RECORD: War - First album as "war" in 1971
3) CASSETTE: Madonna - True Blue
4) CASSETTE: ZZTop - Eliminator -- THIS IS A GERMANY RELEASE AND IT HAS THE GOOD VERSION OF LEGS ON IT!! (4:35)

Its on CHROME tape and It sounds goregous.... This is the same master thats on the 8track.. Thats why the original 'legs' is on it......(Before they changed it to that garbage single)

I last got a cassette I ordered in the mail from the UK

I was glad to find this as all US copies of this cassette are "Digilog" and sound like crap listening in analogue!

No otber country has destroyed media like the US has and its sad.......
