my system is extremely slow after restore

My windows 10 system is running less than optimal after factory restore. Flash player isnt working properly and everything is moving slowly. Attempts to roll back to previous save state have failed.

I guess the first question is, why did you do a factory restore?

Have you also installed the latest MS updates?

Have you performed an AV scan?

if you just did a factory restore, of course it is going to run slow. it is indexing your drives and installing all the updates from microsoft. It will be like that for a few days, depending how large the drive, number of drives, and how many updates win10 will need to catch up. in addition it could be installing updates from the computer manufacturer too.

The reason i did a restore but because we were starting to get some errors and some slowdown. NO popups or malware that i know of..but you never know. Every scan i did with my av, turned up nothing. I am using proprietary av software from AT&T (McAfee). I know its probably not the best but im generally very careful about links that i click and the sites i go to..

1st dump McAfee, Windows 10 has it own anti-virus that also includes spyware/malware, called Defender. McAfee will disable it. It is as good as any commercial product, it is all you need. Once you remove and reboot Windows should then activate Defender. Now run a full scan with it. See if this helps, post back.

Hi, McAfee doesn't show up so I presume you deleted it? You need to run their uninstaller to be properly rid of it. In addition disable the Bonjour service (part of Itunes, is a real network hog).

Hi, no the Bonjour service is still running to disable it open a cmd as admin (as shown) and copy paste:-

sc config mDNSResponder start= disabled (press enter) mDNSResponder is the service name for Bonjour.

Your blue screen is caused by a driver stuck in a loop, typically this is a BIOS problem or a software problem(not hardware). Usually it is the Graphics card driver. So open device manager and update the driver for your video card. If your MB manufacturer has an update for your BIOS install this. If you need help with the video driver open a cmd as admin (as shown) and copy paste:-

wmic PATH Win32_VideoController GET Description,PNPDeviceID /Format:List > 0 & notepad 0

Press enter, post the notepad outcome here if needed.

EDIT:- sorry I just noticed we already have your video card details, so ignore the last cmd.

Says the "specified service does not exist as an installed service.."

strange...
