math trick

1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2

not sure if it will work with non US numbers that have more or less than 7 digits

my last 4 numbers are 0323, but the last four on the calc give me 0008. Maybe it only works for most numbers, but not for some? (it got the first three numbers right, tho!)

This has just ben done recently.
No area code. Just first three numbers of phone.......455-7518
455 * 80 = 36400 +1 + 36401 * 250 = 91000250 +7518 + 7518 = 9115286
+ 7518 + 7518 = 9115286 - 250 = 9115036 /2 = 4557518
Now all this to find out a number I already knew.
It's magic.
