New Firefox Doesnt Work

Hiya, Ive Just Downloaded the New Firefox As People Seem To Say Its The Best Browser, But as i Set It Up And Went On It Immediatly Is Says " Unable To Connect To Mozila etc"

Then When You Type And Webpage In It Says "Unable To Connect To www.cybertechhelp.com"

Any Idea's? Some On My Programs DOnt Seem To Find The Internet And O Dont Know Whats Wrong With It Example MSN.

Hi,

Does your Internet Explorer work?
Do you use a Proxy Server?

If not then goto Firefox Preferences, then Connections and choose Direct Connection.

Does this happen every time you load Firefox? Are you on a dialup?

Once, after getting the latest version of FF, I couldn't get the dialup box to appear whenever Firefox started. I ended up erasing account information out of the Connection properties, restarting the computer, and re-entering all my info for the ISP. That pretty much cured it. There are still rare occasions when it happens, but closing and reopening Firefox always brings it back.

(I use FF1.0 on ME, for what it's worth....)
