Windows Task Manager
Hi...when i hit control+alt+delete to close a program it doesnt come up with the 5 different tabs, (Aplications, Processes, Performance, Networking, Users) it only comes up with the tasks that are running. I also doesnt have the files options shut down ect. buttons on top or the "X" in the upper right hand corner for me to close it. The only way to close it is to right click on it and go to close. oh yeah...it is windows xp pro. Any info will be much apreciated!!!

This could be your problem.....
From the MSKB...... SYMPTOMS The menu bar and tabs may not be visible in Task Manager. CAUSE This behavior may occur if Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode. If you double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to this mode. RESOLUTION To switch Task Manager to its typical display mode, double-click the top border of the window. |
