network media center
For as long as I can remember, I've used my Xbox 360 as the hub for my media center. Both wirelessly and via USB drive, I've played videos and music through it, but I'm moving out of my house and into a house with my roommates and I want the 360 to be in my room. So now we're stuck without any music or videos in the living room. Now I'm looking for a media center that can stream music and videos from my computer wirelessly. I've looked into purchasing a computer with windows media center to have plugged into the tv at all times, but I don't need the full functionality of a computer, I just want the media center part. Something like this would work perfectly, but I feel I can do the same thing only cheaper. Any ideas?
