If I backup a program to a flash drive will it work on another computer ?

for the most part, no. Very generally speaking, most programs have pieces of it in the os registry and other locations throughout the computer that is needed to run. The registry will only work on the computer it was created on.

Only the USB on your source PC may be used to run and launch apps that have been transferred. Other computers won't be able to use it. You may use the USB to execute apps once you've loaded them onto it. Open the USB drive in Windows File Explorer.

Depends on the program, some are stand alone and will work from a USB. If the program does not need to be installed to run, then it will work.
