Simply right click on the taskbar, then pick properties!

A box pops up, where yuo are able to hit a little box called auto-hide the taskbar!

Simple as that :-)

I'm not sure what you mean by Completely hide it. The only method I'm aware of is the one Theory mentioned above. I will take a look around and see if I can find anything else though.

If you mean the 1-pixel wide line you see at the bottom of the screen when the taskbar is hidden, I don't think that's removable. What *I* did was simply change my monitor settings so that 1-pixel hair thin line was off the bottom of the display area... When the taskbar is "popped up", I certainly don;t miss that 1 pixel of display at the bottom edge.

I've seen guys put their taskbar up on the top of their moniter, or on the left or right side. How can this be done?

Justin,
If you right-click in the task bar, the menu includes an item that's checked by default, "Lock The Taskbar." If you unlock the taskbar, you can then drag it to the top or sides of the screen.

I've tried that but I can't seem to get the task bar to the sides without getting it all bent outta shape, I thought there was an easier way. Like something to change in a line of code that docks it on the bottom or what not.
