Here, here! First snow of the season in Michigan this past Thursday, isn't that right, Magnum73? It's looking like we might get more of the snow Michigan is famous for this year! Seasons greetings, everyone!

Yes, I live in Michigan, and everyone I meet in other places when I travel ask me about the snow. Does that make it famous? It does, IMO!

Talking Ah Yes, Indeedie...

Yuppers--It sure did snow here last week, ..and rain, and sleet, and ......!
It could be MUCH worse tho! I remember 20 years ago here when even the snow removers would get stuck in the snow banks! Everyone, including me, always gets confused with what is called "lake effect" snow, that it couldn't possibly be THAT bad! When the cold air comes in and mixes with the warmer water? ("wooder", where I am from--Philly) It can get hairy! Back in Philly, it was MUCH warmer! Or, perhaps, I am MUCH older!? Yes, Florida has even gotten snow, and amazingly enuff, TEXAS???????? What's with that?

Yeah, where's the El Ninos and La Ninas, whatever (sp???) that used to be all over the news, that caused us to have such pleasant and warmer weather than say a generation ago? I think they got stuck in an avalanche out in Colorado. I heartell that the resorts just may have a really good season out there! It will be (generally speaking) good for the economy ---at least in Colorado!
