Update Problems
I have windows update turned on, and have just started to receive a security update for microsoft.net framework version 1.1 service pack 1 (KB928366), and microsoft.net framework version 2.0 (KB928365). I run the update, but keep getting an error "Some updates could not be installed" (KB928365), then the updater keeps showing up in the taskbar to update it. Is this really needed, don't even know what framework is. How can I stop this from coming up other than turning off updater.

I had the same problem and how I fixed it was, go to add & remove programs and uninstall all netframework 1.1 and 2.0 then go to www.microsoft.com and download net framework 2.0 then the KB928365 will install.

I have tried to uninstall framework, but get a message "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'netfx.msi' in the box below."
