Card reader for memory card doesn't show card
I have a Lumix DMC FZ20 with a Sandisk Memory card. I download the memory card to my computer using a Promaster Digital card reader attached to a USB port on my computer. Removable Disk drive states that I need to load a card, although I already have, and when I remove it and reenter it, I get the same message. The card still works in my camera, where I can see the pictures.
Is there anything I can do? If you can't answer this because of the camera questions, could you refer me to a site that could? Thank you, Carol Butler |

Did the Promaster Digital card reader come with a disk? If so did you load the driver?
Here is the support site for your device.. http://www.promaster.com/repairmenu.asp Look for your device there & see what you come up with.. |

I use a GE Secure Digital memry card reader wih my Panasonic FZ18, in fact it looks similar to the card reader you are using.
If you are using Windows XP all you should need to do is plug the card reader into a USB port on your computer. No need to load drivers. Are you trying to plug it into a USB hub by any chance? If so try it directly into a USB port on your computer. |
