Remove Ubuntu from Ubuntu/Vista Dual Boot

I have windows Vista installed on my desktop, I currently just moved and have no clue where my vista recovery cd that gateway gave me is.

I dual booted Vista and ubuntu on here, (vista being the pre-installed os) thinking I would like to use both, but it appears my wireless d-link usb adapter has huge problems with ubuntu, so I would just like to remove the dual boot.

I am asking this question before hand because I know if I just remove ubuntu I will no longer be able to boot into vista because of grub/mbr.

anyone have any suggestions I could have

Thanks

Hi Perma. Without a Vista Installation DVD to restore your MBR, you are reliant on 3rd party apps. You could try EasyBCD. Reinstall The Vista Bootloader > Write MBR. See screenshot here.

Thank you very much, I restored mbr with that, and then right clicked on "Computer" and manage and removed the ubuntu partition
