Wireless printer not seen by Windows XP

I have a home wireless network (AT&T Uverse) with a Windows XP, 10, and iMac all using it successfully for internet connections. I have a wireless HP All-in-One printer that the iMac and Windows 10 PC can use. However, the XP does not see it.

I have tried a number of things to add the printer. I can't even remember everything to document them here. The last thing I remember was getting a message on the XP that I might not have proper access and to check with my system administrator. Well, that's me, but I don't know what to look for.

My IP on the XP is 192.168.177 and my Gateway is 192.168.1.254. I don't know how to find the IP to my printer. Any help on what I could try would be most appreciated.

Good point about the drivers. Don't I feel foolish. This is an HP Office Jet 5255. It didn't come with a CD for the drivers. I have been using it from my other systems for a couple of months. I forgot I had to go to a web site for the drivers. I just got around to trying it on my XP, which I obviously don't use very often. I went to the web site and it stated the printer isn't compatible with XP, much to my disappointment. It did refer me to an HP site, but the site is undergoing changes at the moment so no good there. I'll see if I have any options. But thanks for the driver reminder.

If you go here, and scroll all the way down to where it says Compatible Operating Systems
it says it's compatible with XP.
