pdf files

I just installed Acrobat reader, yet I can't open pdf files. running win Ultimate 7. any suggestions?

Note sure what you mean by "open" .pdf files. Acrobat "Reader" is just that, it lets you read or "view" .pdf files. You cannot "open" .pdf files for editing.

Frankly, because Adobe products are constantly plagued with new found security vulnerabilities, I stopped using them years ago.

Instead, I use and recommend Foxit Reader. Others I trust use and recommend Sumatra PDF. Both are free and totally compatible with the .pdf format.

As with all programs, be sure to use the "Custom install" option when installing so you can opt-out of any option you don't want.

pdf files

PDF files can be viewed in Edge its the only thing I use Edge for right now, but I dont know if advanced features are supported there.
