Problem with IE9

I have Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. Ever since I had some automatic Windows Updates the other day I have had problems with IE9. The browser finds the pages but if I want to interact with a page - like booking a hotel room - the sites just freeze. The downloads and the problem may not be connected, it could just be a coincidence - but I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I have installed Firefox and there are no problems with that browser. I hope I have put this query in the right place. I have also reinstalled IE9 but the problem has not resolved.

Are you saying that you have the same problems with IE8?

You could try resetting the browser settings.

Cleared Problem

I discovered that, if I started IE9 by right clicking the program in the Start List and selecting 'run as administrator', it cleared the probem and it hasn't happened again. It had happened to someone else who successfully tried this solution and it was worth a try. Something must have unblocked the fault. I don't know whether IE8 is affected as I do not have it but thank you for your interest.
