Three questions

1. Do you like to get involved in controversy, or not?

2. Why?

3. In your opinion, are people who never get involved in controversy cowards?

No, I don't like to....at least not on the boards...too much room for misunderstanding. Example...in the thread that fitzy posted...I made a comment about blowing them up until the guilty one stands up and confesses.....well, obviously I know that that's not a true alternative....I was spouting off. Anyway, that's why I don't like to and I don't keep up with all the issues either....

And I'M DEFINITELY NOT A COWARD!

Thanks for that answer, Kimmy, I appreciate it. And no, you definitely aren't a coward.

Well, it's just I'm a little distressed because I posted something controversial somewhere else and so far, it seems it hasn't gone over well. You're right, misinterpretation on such matters is always a possibility. But I'm always so quiet on important things, and I have my beliefs and I thought it was important, so I put it. What the hay, I guess.........

I guess I wonder about myself sometimes, I want people to like me so much that I stay away from all that, maybe too much, I reckon. Oh never mind me, I'm having a bad day!

Bye!

Harrie, It depends what board your on. I like to get in on discussions about issues at times. I don't get into the flaming unless someone flames me first. LOL.... "PC Mechanic" is a very good board for that kind of posting. They will talk you about things & no flaming.

Harrie, stick to your beliefs if you think you`re right. Life would be pretty dull if we all followed one another and never discussed issues.
Kimmy, I knew you didn`t literally mean it when you said blast them, but even if you had meant it, you are entitled to your opinion. I`ve always been in favour of people speaking their minds, thats what makes the world a great place and also a dangerous place.

Fitzy and w4che, you had good things to say and I appreciate it. This was on a board that already has forums that simply are for controversial subjects. Anyway, I'm feeling okay about it now, and thanks everybody again.

Harrie
I find it a lot easier just to be yourself, even to the point of a misunderstanding.
Just like the other day I came in late and seen kimmy and buzz having fun. I decide to join in but I was wrong, totally wrong. I butted into something I shouldn't have. Instead of making matters worse, I went straight to buzz and told him why I did what I did. I told him I was sorry and we still get alone fine.
So my point on this Harrie is, no matter what happens, the people on this board are more understanding, reasonable and will accept an apologe if needed. So feel free to let your self go, if you get out of hand I will PM and tell you, but I never see that happening.

Well in all fairness.. I don't get too upset by anything that happens on the boards. 'Sides how could I possibly be upset with the local bouncer? He might kick my a**!

1. Do you like to get involved in controversy, or not?

2. Why?

3. In your opinion, are people who never get involved in controversy cowards?

1.) I like to speak my mind.

2.) Speaking your mind can and does cause problems for those that disagree.

3.) Not cowards persay, just wishy washy. I like to travel the narrow road and enter through the narrow gate.

A bit of a note. I know that there are some on this board that may not like me, but I must say that you would never know it by the way I have been treated.

Thanks,

Dale
