problem with 95 disc

I've reformatted my friends harddrive on their computer and put their cdrom drivers on to read the win 95 disc, but it's missing the executable setup file. Any ideas? If I don't figure it out soon my friend is going to kick my ass.

Hi there - do you mean you can access the CD-Rom from DOS prompt but there is no setup.exe in the root directory?
If so, I doubt that is a genuine Windows CD and you should kick his ass right back.

That said, you could try looking in the Win95 directory on the CD for setup.exe.
e.g.
D:\>CD win95 [enter]
D:\WIN95>dir/w/p [enter]

see it?
