Open Member Quote   Just had to post a note to say how impressed I am with this site. I only discovered it a few days ago and I have to confess that I am a TOTAL non-starter with computers...but very keen and willing to learn! :D I have asked for - and received - prompt help in partitioning my hard drive although I decided after sucessfully doing it, to go back to normal coz other stuff confused me! Still, I am upgrading to a faster processor and bigger hard drive in the very near future so will be carrying out the procedure again (I hope) Just wanted to say how grateful I am for the support and I will be recommending the site to all my friends - peachyglint1  Close Member Quote

Tutorials | Submit A Tutorial

Cyber Tech Help welcomes member participation. If you have written a tutorial or an article which you feel would benefit our members, and would like it published on the site please read on.

If you would like to submit a Tutorial or an Article for publication here on Cyber Tech Help we ask that you please read through the following guidelines before doing so:

Make it readable

Write your tutorial or article as if a computer beginner is reading it. Not everyone who is reading what you have written may be at the same level of computing competence as you.

Include any pictures you feel would explain what you're writing

Pictures can often explain more than a hundred words. They're invaluable in tutorials. If you have paint or photo-editting software please also try to optimise the images you produce

Get your facts straight

Check and recheck any facts you state in your tutorial or article. Make sure all the information you write in your tutorial or article is correct.

Please check the spelling and grammar of your tutorial or article before submission. Your tutorial or article upon submission will be reviewed and any spelling mistakes will be edited or corrected so as to ensure that the tutorial or article is very readable. By checking your spelling prior to submission it just makes our job a little easier.

If in your tutorial or article you quote anyone be that another site or from an article you read in a magazine - they MUST be attributed to the original authors, and no copyrighted material must be included AT ALL. Any images you include in an tutorial or article must be your own.

How big must my tutorial or article be ?

All submissions should be over 250 words. They can however be as long as you like. However please try not to over-bloat any points you are trying to make. Make things as simple as possible and in context with the overall theme of the tutorial or article.

When submitting your tutorial or article please remember to include some details about yourself. This is so we can include appropriate credit to you for your submission. You might like to include your real name, nickname on the Cyber Tech Help Support Forums, ICQ number, email address.

Other Information

Submissions will be accepted in any word processor format. i.e./ txt, doc format. The tutorials or articles will then be worked in to the html format of Cyber Tech Help.
